Cookie Policy

Courtesy translation — in case of discrepancy the Italian version prevails.

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies Epilog uses. Some are technical and essential to the service; others, from third parties, are enabled only with your consent.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files saved by the browser. Some are necessary to deliver the service (technical cookies) and don’t require consent; others power features provided by third parties and require your prior consent.

This site (epilogtv.com)

The site you are visiting is the Epilog presentation page. It installs no profiling cookies, uses no analytics tools and requires no consent to be browsed. It only loads the fonts — served directly by us — and the images of shows and movies from TMDB’s servers (which receive your browser’s IP address, as with any image loaded from the web). The cookies and consent panel described below concern the Epilog application, where you create an account and keep your library.

Technical cookies (always on)

  • epilog.sid — session cookie that keeps you signed in. Duration: 30 days; it ishttpOnly (not accessible from scripts). Necessary: without it, you couldn’t stay signed in.
  • Browser local storage — used to remember some preferences (e.g. whether you’ve already seen the welcome screen and your cookie choices). It is technical in nature and doesn’t require consent.

Fonts

The site’s fonts are served directly by Epilog (self-hosted): we make no calls to Google Fonts and no data is transferred to third parties to render fonts.

Third-party services subject to consent

  • Google Identity Services (Google sign-in) — enabled only if you consent to the “Third-party” category. If you don’t consent, Google sign-in is unavailable, but you can still register and sign in with email and password.

Statistics

A “Statistics” category is provided in the cookie panel, but it is not active today: we don’t use analytics or measurement tools.

How to manage consent

In the application, on your first visit we show a panel to choose. You can change your choices at any time via “Cookie preferences”, available in the footer of the sign-in pages and on the Settings page.

For the processing of personal data see the Privacy Policy.
