By using Epilog you accept these terms. We recommend reading them together with thePrivacy Policy.
1. The service
Epilog is a personal tracker that helps you keep your place across TV shows and movies: what you follow, what you’ve watched, what’s left. It also includes social features: you can comment on episodes and movies, reply to other users and give “likes”.
2. Your account
- To register you must be at least 14 years old. If you are under 14 you need the consent of whoever holds parental responsibility.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity on your account.
- The data you provide must be truthful.
3. Permitted use
Epilog is for personal, non-commercial use. You may not abuse the service, attempt to compromise its security, or access it with automated or scraping tools.
4. User content
Epilog lets you post comments on episodes and movies, reply to other users and give “likes”. This content remains yours, but you are solely responsible for what you post.
- Do not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringes others’ rights (including copyright), incites hatred or violence, or is harassing, deceptive, spam or advertising.
- Comments are generally visible to other users. By posting them you grant Epilog a free, non-exclusive licence to store and display them to other users, solely to operate the service.
- You can delete your comments at any time. If other users have already replied, a placeholder (“Comment deleted”) remains in place of the text so the conversation isn’t broken.
- We may remove content that breaches these terms and suspend or close the accounts responsible. If you find inappropriate content, you can report it using the reporting tools in the app or by writing to info@epilogtv.com.
5. Third-party content
Metadata and images for shows and movies come from The Movie Database (TMDB). As required by the TMDB API terms of use, we display the following attribution (official English text, not modifiable):
This product uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.6. No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages or data loss arising from use of the service.
7. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time.
8. Service continuity and closure
Epilog exists to give you control of your data and an orderly way out. If we ever had to discontinue the service, we commit to:
- giving you at least 60 days’ notice, by email and with a notice on this site;
- keeping data export available until the closing date, so you can download everything in a reusable format;
- deleting your data within 30 days of the service shutting down, without transferring it to third parties;
- ceasing use of and deleting the cached metadata provided by TMDB, as their terms require.
9. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms with notice; continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law; disputes are subject to the competent court under applicable law.
